Lottery officials estimate Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot to be the 10th largest in the game’s history.
If someone matches all six numbers, they’d win a grand total of $403 million. That’d be a cash value of about $243.9 million. The jackpot has reached current levels after going un-won since the Wednesday, December 21st drawing.
The odds of winning are one in 292 million. In comparison, your odds of getting struck by lightning is about one in 960,000.
