14-Year-Old Arrested for “Clown Threats” to Harlem Schools

A teenager is arrested for threats made of a clown attacking several schools in the Harlem School District.

On October 5th and 6th, there were two separate Facebook postings threatening the Harlem 9th grade campus. As a result, several hundred students either went home early or did not come to school.

An investigation by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office with assistance of school administrators identified and led to the arrest of a 14-year-old student responsible for the postings.

The juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct.
