19-year-old Jaime Gonzales, of Rockford, was identified Friday as the teen shot and killed at the Great Oaks Apartement complex on Linden Road Thursday night.
Paramedics brought Gonzales to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death as a homicide.
