2 men stabbed, 1 arrested after fight breaks out at a Dixon business

Dixon Police arrested a man after a physical altercation at a business left two men stabbed and injured.

Officers responded to a disturbance involving several individuals on the patio of Drifter’s Saloon, on 85 South Galena Avenue, early Saturday morning. 

Two men were stabbed with a bladed object and were sent to the hospital for multiple injuries. 

An investigation identified the suspect involved in the stabbing as 29-year-old Balal Abdelhadi of Dixon. An arrest warrant was issued for Abdelhadi. He was located and taken into custody during a traffic stop. 

Abdelhadi faces multiple charges: Armed Violence, Aggravated Battery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
