News

A two-year old boy put playtime on hold to help out firefighters responding to a call in his neighborhood.

Little Jackson McNary saw firemen outside his house repsonding to reports of a burning shed and ran out to help, red plastic hat in hand, along with his plastic axe and whistle.

Jackson was soon part of the Fresno Fire Department’s ranks as the rookie became a pro with the help of a fellow fireman.

The Fresno Fire Department says they were happy to introduce Jackson to his first firefighting experience and say they hope it sparks and interest and leaves a lasting impact for his future.
