20-year-old Rockford man found guilty for shooting man during robbery

A Rockford man was found guilty on Tuesday for a January, 2017 home invasion that happened in Hillcrest, Ilinois.

Ogle County Police say Casimir Williams, 20, Rayvon Motton and Eddie Blaylock, all of Rockford, shot a man at a home in Hillcrest, as part of a robbery involving the sale of cannabis.

All three men were charged with Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery and Armed Robbery.

Williams was found guilty after a three day bench trial. He faces anywhere from 48 to 120 years in prison. Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on November 14th.

Motton and Blaylock are still in custody and their cases pending.
