A second man has been arrested for the January 8th murder of Cassini Hill, near Beloit.
Jamal Sharief was taken into custody Tuesday in Milwaukee. Sharief had left the Beloit area in an attempt to avoid questioning in the Hill homicide investigation. He was transported back to the Rock County Jail and is charged with first degree intentional homicide.
Another man, Marcus Clay, was previously arrested and charged with first degree murder in Hill’s death.
Rock County Sheriff’s Office detectives are still looking for a 2006 silver Dodge Magnum. That vehicle is registered to Jamal Sharief.
Cassini Hill was shot eleven times in that vehicle, prior to being left for dead on College Road in the Town of Turtle on January 8th. Sharief had concealed the vehicle in an attempt to keep detectives from finding it.
That vehicle had Wisconsin plates of 826-YAF. It is unknown of those plates are still on the car.
Anyone with information in reference to the homicide investigation is asked to call Rock County authorities at (608) 757-7911.
