33rd Annual Ryan Jury Memorial Golf Outing raises money for children’s medical care

News

Wednesday marked the 33rd annual Ryan Jury Memorial Golf outing, which was formed by the Jury family in memory of their son, Ryan, who died of cancer at just 23-months-old in 1986.

Golfers met at the Aldeen Golf Club. All funds raised by the event benefit Swedish American hospital, particularly the expansion of the new four-story Women and Children’s tower.

“This outing has always been about children and the children of Swedish American,” Fiona Sprigman, the Director of Women and Children’s Services at Swedish American, said. “There’s no greater aspect than building this level three NICU to help support these babies.”

The proceeds from Wednesday’s outing will go to help keep children in the same building as their mothers when they are submitted for higher care.
