Four men are in custody after two separate drug arrests over the weekend.

Police arrested Darius Dickens, 23, Orentho Hurd, 22, and Edward Parchman, 24, Saturday afternoon.  An officer tried to pull them over on N. Bell School, but say they drove off.  They eventually crashed into another car at State and Perryville.

No one was hurt.

The men all face drug possession charges.  Dickens and Hurd both face an additional charge of resisting arrest.

Later Saturday night, a Winnebago Co. Sheriff’s deputy arrested Vance Adams, 24.  He pulled him over on S. Alpine just north of Harrison.  The officer said he smelled marijuana coming from the car.  He also seized about 4 grams of the drug and a loaded handgun.  Adams now faces drug and weapons charges.
