“A League of Their Own” Actress to Help Dedicate New Rockford Women’s Baseball Center

The woman who played, “Betty Spaghetti” in the 1992 film “A League of Their Own” will soon be in Rockford.

Tracy Reiner will be a special guest during the dedication of the International Women’s Baseball Center on September 3rd at Beyer Stadium.  She starred as a Rockford Peach in the movie.

Reiner is the daughter of actress and director Penny Marshall and Michael Henry. Her mother was married for 10 years to actor and director Rob Reiner, who adopted her.

The baseball center, presently located in California, will be relocated to a building across from Beyer Stadium on 15th avenue. The new building will host educational, training, and museum facilities for girls and women’s baseball.
