“Beverly Hills 90210” and “Riverdale” actor Luke Perry has died at 52 after suffering a massive stroke.
TMZ reports that Perry died Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank.
Perry was taken to the hospital last Wednesday morning after suffering a stroke.
Doctors had placed Perry in an induced coma in hopes of giving him a chance to recover.
Perry starred as Dylan McKay on the TV show “Beverly Hills 90210” in the 80’s and then as Archie’s dad on the CW show “Riverdale.”
He had also filmed a role in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
A reboot of “Beverly Hills 90210” featuring the original cast had just been announced last week, although Perry’s participation was unknown due to his commitment to “Riverdale.”
