(WTVO) — Actor Tim Conway, who starred in “The Carol Burnett Show” and “The Apple Dumpling Gang” has died at 85.
A representative for Conway confirmed that the actor died at 8:45 a.m Tuesday morning, according to ABC News.
Conway suffered from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), which causes fluid to build up in the brain, prior to his death.
The actor appeared on The Carol Burnett Show and won a Golden Globe for the series in 1976, and Emmys in 1973, 1977 and 1978, according to People.
Conway also starred on McHale’s Navy, voiced Barnacle Boy on Spongebob Squarepants, played a diminutive golfer in a series Dorf on Golf videos, and starred alongside Don Knotts in a series of films, including The Apple Dumpling Gang and The Private Eyes.
