The iconic Barnum’s Animal Crackers box has received a new makeover. The circus animals pictured in cages on the original box are now free after more than a century behind bars.

The change was made after PETA called on Mondelez International to redesign the cracker packaging.

The animal rights group has been protesting the use of animals in circuses for 30 years.

The new boxes of crackers are now available in the U.S., featuring the same red and yellow coloring, but instead of being in cages, the zebra, elephant, lion, giraffe and gorilla are all exploring the grassland together.
