An alleged Rockford drug dealer is behind bars after an early morning raid.

Winnebago County Sheriff’s narcotics officers raided a house on the 2400 block of Elm Street at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday and recovered 400 Ecstasy pills and a loaded handgun with the serial number removed.

Tommy Stanley, 38, of Rockford, was arrested for Possession with the Intention to Deliver Ecstasy, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of a Firearm with Defaced Serial Number, and Armed Violence.

Stanley is lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
