Rockford’s Tinker Swiss Cottage is the focus of a new film.
The documentary is called ‘Tinker’s Shadow: The Hidden History of Tinker Swiss Cottage’. The film was made by a local resident, Michael Kleen, who ran as a Republican nominee for mayor in 2013.
Kleen has made a career of pursuing ghost stories across Illinois. In 2005, he published ‘Tales of Coles County, Illinois’ and publishes a monthly serial about the legends and lore of Illinois.
The film explores the haunted history of Tinker Swiss Cottage and is set to release on Amazon Instant Video on March 26th. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rockford museum.
