U.S. Marshals have arrested a fugitive wanted in the shooting death of a man in Rockford on July 4, 2013.

Police were called at 11:30pm that night to a report of a shooting near the intersection of S. Henrietta Ave. and Green St.  27-year-old Semarin Dubois was at a memorial fireworks show for a friend who had died the year before when a man got out of a car and shot him to death.

In January, First Degree Murder Charges were filed against 28-year-old Shazariyah Hibbett and 25-year-old Johny McFadden.  McFadden turned himself in, but Hibbett remained a fugitive until he was tracked down by U.S. Marshals at an apartment in the 5700 block of Forest Hills Rd. on Friday morning.

He is being held on a $3 million dollar bond/
