An attic fire severely damaged a Rockford home Sunday morning.
Crews responded to the home at 2925 16th Street just before 10 a.m. Firefighters went in and out of the home as snow fell around them and smoke poured out of the roof. They found flames in the attic and worked quickly to put them out.
No one was hurt, but the blaze did cause around $18,000 in damage.
