Backing up your data saves in the long run

Whether it’s an important school project or pictures from a vacation, backing up your data protects you from losing important documents.

Doing routine backups on your devices will save you if something gets deleted by a scam email, or if your device gets lost or stolen.

There are dozens of different ways to ensure your data is secured. You can put it on an external hard drive, use backup software, cloud storage and more. There are certain methods that can do automatic backups, incase you forget.

If you’re going for a method that does not allow you to back up your data automatically, experts say you should do it yourself as often as often as every 24 hours.

Doing this will you keep you and your important documents prepared in case for the worst.
