Sears has bought a little more time to stay in business. 

A bankruptcy court approved a $350 million loan to keep the retailer running through the holidays.

Cyprus Capital partners is providing the load.

Sears still plans to close 170 of its 700 stores by the end of the year. 

Sears was once the third largest retailer in the world.
