Beloit Police officers caught Jeffrey Taylor, 37, a suspect in several burglaries to Piggly Wiggly, during a fourth robbery Wednesday night.

Police say the Piggly Wiggly has been the victim of three other burglaries between November 6th and November 26th. As a security measure, a sergeant was able to spot a burglary in progress around 11 p.m. last night.

Officers and a K-9 unit found Taylor hiding in a vent on the building’s roof. He was arrested and is being charged as a suspect in the three other burglaries.

Taylor was also arrested for bail jumping, since he was wanted on a $500 bond for a prior burglary charge.
