Police have made an arrest after a man used counterfeit $100 bills at convenience stores, grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants in Janesville and the surrounding area.
35-year-old Jeremy A. Moore of Beloit faces at least 9 counts of forgery charges, with police saying several others are still under investigation.
Moore has confessed according to Janesville Police Detectives, and video was obtained in many of the cases.
They say anyone who believes they have a counterfeit bill should contact the police department to investigate at (608) 755-3100.
