Beloit’s school district is partnering with an outside firm to find the next superintendent.

The School District of Beloit has hired School Exec Connect to assist them in their search.

In December 2017, Superintendent Tom Johnson announced his resignation, effective June 30, 2018. Since that time, Darrell L. Williams has served as Interim Superintendent.

Bids for potential search firms went out in January and four were selected for interviews. From that pool, School Exec Connect Partners and Associates was selected.

The firm will begin their search this month in anticipation of a new superintendent in place by July 1st.

“The Board of Education is looking forward to a transparent process that engages our entire community,” said Board President Laurie Endres. “Although we want to move quickly, our first priority is to find the absolute best candidate for our children and the Beloit community.”

School Exec Connect conduct searches for all levels of education executives and consult on a variety of topics related to school governance.
