Belvidere heroin dealer sentenced to 12 years in prison

Mitchell B. Tucker II was sentenced to 12 years in prison for selling heroin.

The Boone County State’s Attorney announced that Tucker was sentenced after pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

The charges stemmed from a November 8, 2017 traffic stop by the Illinois State Police, during which Tucker was found to be in possession of 152.7 grams of heroin.
