Police have arrested Jonathan White, 34, of Belvidere after a six-month long drug investigation, for allegedly selling drugs within 500 feet of a senior citizen residential complex.

White was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 500 Feet of a Senior Citizen Residential Complex and one count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The Belvidere/Boone County Narcotics Unit says the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

If convicted, White faces between 6 to 30 years in prison.
