Blackhawk Bank’s Roscoe banking center has moved to a temporary location while renovation on a new site continues.

The bank has relocated from its original location on the corner of IL-251 and Elevator Road to a temporary location at 5506 Clayton Circle in Roscoe.

“For many years we’ve leased the building on Elevator Road, but our preferred model is property ownership,” Blackhawk Bank President and COO Dave Adkins said. “The building is not for sale and our lease expired in May 2018. The purchase of our new building further demonstrates our generations-old dedication to serving the financial needs of the people of the Roscoe and Rockton region and beyond.”

The new banking center will be larger than the old one, and is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2018.
