Boone County man sentenced to 11 years for drug trafficking

BOONE COUNTY, Ill. - A Boone County judge has sentenced Johnny Booth to 11 years and six months in prison for drug trafficking.

Booth was stopped by the Illinois State Police in August of 2017, who subsequently found 62.5 grams of heroin and 3.6 grams of cocaine concealed within his vehicle.

Booth pled guilty on Tuesday to the charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
