Burglary and Shooting Rocks Quiet Roscoe Neighborhood


Police in Roscoe are investigating a burglary and a shooting.

Around 11p.m.  Friday evening, Roscoe police were called to the 7000 block of Nestlewood for a suspicious person with shots fired.

Neighbors telling police they saw a white Ford pickup truck parked in front of a residence.

They say the driver walked up to a residence on Nestleweood, but turned around quickly when he saw the homeowner coming to the door-the homeowner losing sight of him.

Shortly after, residents heard gunshots and saw three unknown people running away.

Saturday, Roscoe police recovered a shell casing in the vicinity of Prairie Nook and Nestlewood, and a residence that was burglarized.

The driver is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20’s, early 30’s, 5’7″ tall, and about 200 pounds.

Roscoe police are still investigating and looking for any information regarding the white ford pickup truck and the driver.
