KFACT is holding a fundraiser this weekend that boasts $10 outfits and one-of-a-kind entertainment.
KFACT, or Keeping Families and Communities Together, launched in 2014 as a way to mentor girls in Rockford Public Schools and keep them on the right track. The organization has been widely successful, boasting a 100% high school graduation rate among the hundreds of girls its served.
On Saturday, May 12, KFACT will host the Thrifty Teen Fashion Show. It’ll not only serve as a fundraiser, with the girls modeling $10 outfits through Goodwill, but the event will also highlight the Lady All-Stars dance team. They’ll perform three numbers throughout the fundraiser at Giovanni’s in Rockford. The VIP Meet and Greet starts at 2 p.m., and the fashion show itself starts at 3. Tickets are $50 and includes the show and appetizers.
