Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a shed in Roscoe sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

A resident called police around 8 a.m. Thursday after finding a red Toyota Rav-4 had crashed into a shed in their yard in the 4200 block of Hononegah Road. The car had been abandoned by whoever was inside of it.

Illinois State Police and Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department, were on scene to investigate. They do not believe the driver of the car was seriously hurt.

Anyone with information on the incident can call the Sheriff’s Department at 815-262-2600.
