Caught: Man wanted for shooting in custody

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville Police say the man they’ve been looking for since last Thursday is in custody.

Antonio Sims, 39, was found by the U.S. Marshals Service in Mesa, Arizona.

Sims was wanted after police say they tried to arrest him on July 4 but Sims ran. Officers say as they were chasing him, Sims pulled out a gun and fired three shots into the air.

Sims will be held in custody in Arizona until he can be transported back to Wisconsin for his court appearance.
