Caught on Video: South Beloit gambling venue burglarized, police seek suspect

Police in South Beloit are searching for a male suspect who burglarized Victory Slots, 314 S. Park Avenue, early Monday morning.

Police say the crime occurred at 3:45 a.m. and was caught on surveillance video.

The suspect is described as a white male, possibly wearing cargo pants, a gray colored sweatshirt with writing on the front, black or dark hooded shirt, and red shoes, also wearing gloves and a mask over his face, battered his way into the business by breaking a window.

Police say the suspect pried open two gaming machines.

He then escaped in a dark-colored sedan parked across the street, at Bubbles and Bows.
