Oktoberfest is this weekend in Loves Park, and Marika Mertz and her husband Darryl, stopped by the morning show to tell us all about it.

The German Society of Rockford is hosting the 53rd Annual Oktoberfest Celebration on October 6th and 7th, at the Loves Park City Hall located at 100 Heart Blvd, in Loves Park.

Festivities include live traditional German folk and Polka music. German folk dance group performances, kids activities, German food, and German beer.
