Cheap Trick Inducted Into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Legendary Rockford band Cheap Trick is finally going to the Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2016 was revealed Wednesday night and Cheap Trick will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Rick Nielsen told Rolling Stone Magazine “I’m verklept” in his reaction to the news.

The group formed here in Rockford in 1973 is known for it’s big hits across the globe like “Surrender,” “I Want You to Want Me” and “The Flame.” They have released 16 studio albums in the last four decades.
