In the wake of Sunday’s heartbreaker of a playoff game, in which Bears kicker Cody Parkey missed a 43-yard field goal, Goose Island Beer Co. has announced a prize of ‘beer for a year’ to anyone who can make the kick.
This weekend during normal taproom hours we’ll have a chance for you to show off your kicking skills. Hit the 43 yard field goal and you’ll win beer for a year and eternal glory. More info coming soon. 4/5— Goose Island Beer Co (@GooseIsland) January 7, 2019
So, on Saturday, January 12th at noon, Goose Island plans to put up a goal post in front of its brewery at 1800 W. Fulton Street and allow challengers the chance.
Signups start at noon with kicking to begin at 1 p.m.
The prize consists of a free case of a different Goose Island beer each week, chosen by the brewery.
