Chicago man arrested for armored car robbery at Sycamore bank

29-year-old Brandon Moore, of Chicago, has been charged in connection with a theft to a Sycamore bank.

According to the indictment, Moore is accused of stealing more than $1,000 from the Heartland Bank and Trust on June 28th, 2018.

Police say that approximately 9:40 a.m., two masked suspects robbed an armored vehicle at the strip mall located at 1470 South Peace Road in Sycamore. The robbers then fled in a silver Ford Escape or similar style SUV which was possibly driven by a third suspect.

Moore has been in custody since his arrest.

He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
