Christmas tree recycling locations available throughout the stateline

Locations in Rockford, Rockton, Roscoe, Loves Park and Cherry Valley started taking in Christmas trees for recycling, starting today.

You can bring your Christmas Tree to a dozen different places across the Stateline to be recycled.  The drop-off locations are listed below, they will be taking trees from January 1-15, 2019.  The trees will be chipped beginning on January 15.  The mulch will be available for free but please bring a container.

ROCKFORD:
Don Schmid Youth Sports Center at Riverdahl Park
871 Sandy Hollow Rd – parking lot off Sandy Hollow

Levings Lake
1420 S. Pierpont Ave
east entrance, South Johnson Ave at Montague

Andrews Park
800 North Central Avenue

Gambino Park
4421 Pepper Drive, west of North Alpine

ROSCOE:

PECATONICA:
