Coley Carwell sentenced to 31 years in prison for 2016 slaying of teen

Coley Carwell has been sentenced to 31 years in prison for the murder of 14-year-old Jamario Crawford in 2016.

Coley Carwell was 15-years-old when he shot and killed Crawford on November 11th, 2016 at around 7pm in the area of North Rockton Ave. and Bruce Street near the Roosevelt Community Education Center.  17-year-old Lontrell Brantley was also shot in the shoulder.

Carwell was sentenced to 25 years for First Degree Murder and 6 years for Aggravated Battery.
