The Stateline came together to honor a local teacher whose fight against ALS inspired so many.
Dozens showed up Friday at Rockford’s First Free Church for Kris Grahnke’s visitation and funeral. Mourners wore t-shirts that said “Gronk’s Grace,” that was the name of the group he started to raise awareness for ALS.
Grahnke died Tuesday after a three year battle with ALS.
