A convicted sex offender is heading back to prison after failing to register as a sex offender at his new Boone County address.
Back in May, a Boone County deputy attempted to serve papers to Levi D. Parks at this registered address. The owner at the residence told the deputy that Parks no longer lived there. Parks had not registered his subsequent address.
He was sentenced to two years in prison with one year of mandatory supervision following his release. He will continue to be required to register as a sex offender as well.
