A DeKalb man has no qualms about using his new windfall of money after buying an Illinois Lottery scratch off ticket.
Donald Gravlin, 74, a lifelong DeKalb resident, bought the ticket at the Stop N Shop on Lincoln Highway and won $100,000 instantly. He was playing the World Class Millions game, which has a top prize of $15 million. They’re one of the most expensive scratch off tickets, costing $30 a piece.
The Illinois Lottery says one of the $15 million top prizes, another $1 million prize and four $100,000 prizes are still out there, but so far are unclaimed.
