A 18-year-old man and two juveniles are accused of robbing a man for his weed.

On Sunday, April 1st, at 3:30 p.m., police officers from the DeKalb Police Department were called to the scene of an armed robbery at a residence in the 800 block of Ridge Drive.

Officers learned that three people came over to the victim’s residence with the intention to smoke marijuana. The victim only knew one of the three people who came over, and once inside the house, one of the unknown subjects pulled a gun and robbed the victim of marijuana, cash, and an audio speaker. They then fled on foot.

Through a subsequent investigation, detectives were able to identify the attackers and learned that the robbery had been planned in advance. All three were arrested on April 4th. Two were 17-year-old juvenile DeKalb natives; the third was 28-year-old Timothy Fulton, of Yorkville. All three were charged with Armed Robbery.

The two juveniles were taken to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center. Fulton was taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
