On the last day of summer school, District 205 students went on a trip around the world.
It’s part of Camp Journey’s end of summer event at Barbour Elementary School. After weeks of putting it together, students showed off their projects, which highlighted different cultures.
“They get to go on their own adventure and it’s real colorful,” said Camp Journey Group Leader Ben Ciembronowicz. “Europe, Asia, Africa, and everyone gets to learn something new. So, its been a lot of fun for them.”
The museum exhibit also featured games and activities from around the world. Professionals at the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian helped students put it all together.
