A food delivery man was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night in Rockford.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Palm Street. The 28-year-old delivery driver said he was called to bring food to a house in the area. When he got out of his car, he was confronted by four suspects, at least three of which were armed with handguns.
The suspects took the victim’s wallet and vehicle. The victim was not hurt and no shots were fired.
An investigation is ongoing.
