Rockford’s Ethnic Heritage Museum opens it’s doors on a new exhibit showcasing local African American officials in celebration of Black History Month.

The exhibit spotlights black officials and their accomplishments from the past and present, that have served the Stateline.

The exhibit will be open, at 1129 S Main Street, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday’s through April 28th. 

Admission is $7 and $5 for students.

They will also host a production of  “Lewis Lemon, An Uncommon Life” at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
