An object that appeared to be a WWII grenade prompted a large police presence at the First Community Credit Union Bank in Beloit, WI.

Police were called to the area after bank employees were doing inventory on a repossessed vehicle when they found an object that appeared to be a grenade.

Beloit Police activated their bomb squad as a safety precaution. It turned out the item was fake.

No injuries were reported.
