Family and Friends Hold Prayer Vigil for Missing Loves Park Woman

25 year old Emily Anderson has now been missing for just over a week.

Her family and friends held a vigil on Tuesday night in the hopes that their prayers will be answered- prayers that Emily Anderson be found soon.

Family, friends, and loved ones gathered at Whiskey’s Bar to pray for the safe return of their beloved daughter, sister, and friend.

Emily Anderson hasn’t been seen since the early hours of last Monday morning when she got off her shift at the Shooters bowling alley on Forest Hills in Loves Park.

Her father says she wasn’t currently dating anyone, but had recently ended a relationship with someone a couple weeks ago.

Her family says Emily would never leave them of her own free will, because they’re a very close, tight knit family, and have always been very supportive of each other.

“To say that it’s devastated our family is an understatement,” said Emily’s father, Tom Dull. “We’re hurt but we’re not broken apart. We’re still a family and will always be a family.”

Another reason of concern for her quick return home is the fact that Emily has epilepsy and only has enough of her medication to last her about another week or so.

Her family is asking anyone with any information, to please come forward and help bring Emily back home.
