Female Dominos pizza delivery driver beaten and robbed

A female pizza delivery driver was allegedly beaten and robbed in Rockford Wednesday night.

Rockford Police say they were called to the Dominos Pizza in the 2900 block of N. Main Street shortly after 11 p.m., where they met with a woman who said she was making a delivery in the 500 block of N. Day Avenue. There, she said a suspect met with her and led her to another house where a man opened the door and punched her in the face. 

The victim’s phone, cash, and pizzas were taken. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

One suspect is described as a white male, 20’s, wearing dark clothing and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The other suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, 5’6″, 20s, short afro, wearing all dark clothing.
