Fiat Chrysler will discontinue the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 sedans, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The automaker is refocusing efforts on Jeep SUVs and Ram pickups while also adding to its electric vehicle lineup. The Detroit Free Press reports that the company cannot make enough Jeep Cherokees, Wranglers or Ram pickups to meet demand.
Several publications have reported that Chrysler plans to move the production of its Jeep Cherokee to Belvidere.
Currently, about 4,300 people produce the Dodge Dart, Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot in Belvidere.
