Fireworks likely to blame for roof fire at Rockford industrial building, officials say

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Officials say fireworks are likely to blame for a fire on the roof of Rockford’s former watch factory on Madison Street.

According to fire authorities, crews were able to put out hotspots on the roof around 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The Rockford Fire Department says no one was injured.
