First Rockford “Leap Day” Baby Born At SwedishAmerican

Leap Day comes only once every four years, making one Rockford baby extra special.

Noel was born Monday morning at SwedishAmerican.  She’s weighed in at 5 pounds, 8 ounces.  The baby girl was a planned C-section.  So, her mother Dana knew it would make for a very unique birthday today and even years down the road.

“I figure the old she is… she gets in her 80’s and she can be like, ‘I’m actually only in my 20’s,’ to make her feel a little better,” said Dana Rosas.

Noel is one of three babies born so far Monday at SwedishAmerican Hospital.
